Mission
To strengthen collective leadership capacity across Ottawa–Gatineau and advance equitable newcomer integration through collaboration across employment, social services, civic engagement, and community systems.
Why This Program Matters Now
Canada continues to invest significantly in attracting international students and highly skilled newcomers. Yet many still face systemic barriers including underemployment, credential discounting, social isolation, and limited access to leadership opportunities and civic spaces. This program responds to a growing need for collaborative, cross-sector leadership that strengthens both newcomer integration and community resilience.
The initiative reframes newcomer integration as a shared nation-building opportunity — one that strengthens social capital, innovation, economic inclusion, and collective wellbeing.
This is:

- Not a conference
- Not simply a career development initiative
